Foggy Day in Londontown

Day 1 in London is coming to a close.  It’s funny to say ‘day 1’ because I got on a plane at Newark airport at 9:45 on Monday and now it is Tuesday at 10pm (London time). So ‘day 1’ has lasted well over 24 hours. Or at least it feels that way.

The flight to London went fast and the excitement upon landing was unreal.  I saw Big Ben through the clouds, yet once I touched the Great Britain pavement the feeling of being in another country did not hit for several hours.  Honestly, I do not know if it will occur to me that I am miles away from home and not returning to Syracuse for classes.  The experience is so surreal.

The beautiful flat: 3 bedroom, 2 bath, wash & dryer, dishwasher and 4 lovely roommates!

The View of Crawford St. (Baker Street is three short blocks to the right)

For dinner it was only fitting to visit a London pub and drink a pint!
